And isn't Tuesday gonna be fun. Holocaust Remembrance event for the Jewish Student Union, and a protest to remember a 1948 Israeli attack by Students for Justice in Palestine. It appears that SJP is going to try and lock down a building again, like they did last year. That goes along with a more regular protest at Noon.
So here's what Sproul is going to look like at Noon on Tuesday. Two rival groups that are absolutely thirsty for blood occupying much of it. Surrounding them will be the masses of Election people, many of whom are ready to throw down for a particular side. Add to that the usual flow of Sproul traffic around 12:30, the complete silence of the Administration, and the situation looks more than a little explosive. One spark, one push, one punch thrown may be more than enough to set if off. Yow. Luckily, it may rain tomorrow. At the very least it should be cold. Email This Post! |
