A RePost of "Ways to Help Out CalStuff"
This is from a while ago, but I wanted to throw it out here again for all of our new readers. I've shortened things, but you can read the original here. Over the last couple of weeks, I have been immensely proud of what we have accomplished here. And I don't mean we, the bloggers, I mean we the bloggers, the readers, the commenters, and the tipsters. Together we have produced a leading source of news about UC Berkeley, and CalStuff is one of the only places where people can come for reasoned intelligent conversations on a whole variety of issues. If you enjoy your time here, please consider these simple ways to help out: 1. Read CalStuff. 2. Comment on CalStuff. The writers here are never offering the final level of analysis or reporting on any issue. We read the comments posted here, and it almost always helps give us, and the other readers, a better and more complete view of what we are writing about when our readers help fill in information. 3. Tell your friends about CalStuff. *Use the "E-mail this Post!" link available at the bottom of each post *E-mail a list serve that contains students that might be interested in CalStuff *Place a link to CalStuff somewhere that a number of Cal students might see it (examples include a personal website, your AIM profile (thanks to everyone who did this), your facebook profile, a LiveJournal, or anywhere else. 4. Provide CalStuff with information. We monitor a variety of sources for Berkeley news, but the most effective way to get information to CalStuff is if you drop us a link or some information about something that is happening around campus.Email This Post! |
