In lieu of a statement, here is some totally awful poetry I wrote as a Freshman in High School:

Only the brave
(or stupid?)
will shoot themselves with fire
(Is it safe?)
To test themselves
(Will I stand?)
Aganist hardness and hate
(Is it too strong?)
And only the best
(Am I?)
Will come out unscathed.
