Presidential Debates to be Viewed on Campus
For those caught up in the electoral season, here is the information, from the Oakland Tribune, on the first round:

President Bush and Democratic Sen. John Kerry meet for their first 90-minute debate at 6 p.m. Thursday, moderated by PBS NewsHour anchor and executive editor Jim Lehrer. Held at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla., the debate will focus on foreign policy and homeland security issues.

It will be broadcast live on the Bay Area's NBC and CBS network affiliates.

Watch it in the library of the University of California, Berkeley's Institute of Government Studies, 109 Moses Hall; doors open at 5 p.m., and analysis and discussion with faculty experts will follow.
