ASUC Ratcheting up Opposition to Drop Deadline
Here is the text of an e-mail being sent around about the ASUC's efforts to oppose the change in the drop deadline:

DROP DEADLINE DAY OF ACTION!
Who: EVERYBODY!
When: October 26th, 12:30pm to 2:30pm
Where: Campbell Hall (Near Evans and LeConte)
Why: Because the University needs to know students oppose the 2nd and 4th week drop deadline!

As you've probably heard, Robert Holub, the Dean of Letters and Sciences is planning to change the 8th week Drop Deadline to the 2nd week for impacted courses and the 4th week for all other courses.

Students can act now by attending the demonstration against the change in the Drop Deadline this Tuesday, October 26th, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

The demonstration is occurring at Campbell Hall, where L&S Advising is located. This is to make the point that students need better and more accessible L&S Advising before a change in the Drop Deadline can even be considered.
