Someone Takes CalStuff Too Seriously
Assuming that "fine al", whoever that is, wasn't joking himself, then he didn't get my joke. He recently posted a comment on the one.berkeley.edu news section that said:

Calstuff reports that Matt Loker's column in Friday's Daily Cal entitled "FUNctional Alcoholism" was actually suppose to appear in Squelch, to which Loker is also editor-in-chief.

This, I assume, was a response to my original post about the article, when I wrote:

Matt Loker, Editor in Chief of the Squelch, apparently accidentally sent his latest article for the Squelch to the Daily Cal, which gladly published it.

If Al, was making a joke himself, then boy do I look stupid. And if he wasn't, which I am more inclined to believe, this just provides an opportunity for me to say that we occasionally joke around or use sarcasm here at CalStuff. I merely meant to imply that his column was much more in the style of Squelch material than a Daily Cal column.
