This Makes Me Feel Sexy All Over
I've been getting the weekly e-mails from the Public Affairs Department every week, and although it's mostly worthless, this week I struck gold. The weekly e-mail contains a collection of everything that Public Affairs has accomplished in the last week, and one of the things they chose to trumpet was that they, "Connected professor Linda Williams with USA TODAY for a story that appeared last week about the batch of films coming out featuring full-frontal male nudity."

A teaser like that is definitely worth a quick search of USAToday to find the quotation in question. In an article, "Male Frontal Nudity in the Movies Uncovers an Old Debate" Linda Williams has this to say:

It's about time, some women say. "As a woman, I'm glad. I want to watch male bodies," says Linda Williams, a film-studies professor at the University of California-Berkeley. "There is a growing eroticism about the male body that hasn't quite existed before."

Remind me to take some classes with her.
