Another Reason To Hate Texas

Apparently, the "Hook 'Em Horns" symbol doesn't go over so well in foreign countries. The Norwegian press picked up this picture of President Bush giving the horns to the UT Marching Band in the Inauguration Parade. It seems some countries believe it's a satanic symbol.

I guess it might've been worse if Bush tried to imitate a bear paw for the Cal Band (insert mental picture here). That might've been worse for foreign policy. Or, if we had actually insulted a real country, that could have been potentially harmful.Email This Post!
