Rhetoric Professor Daniel Melia to be on Jeopardy Tonight
Rhetoric and Celtic Studies Professor Daniel Melia will be brought back to Jeopardy tonight, Feb. 18, as part of the "Ultimate Tournament of Champions", an event that pits the greatest Jeopardy players of all time against one another. Prof. Melia was on seven years ago, winning $75,000 and a silver Corvette.
Newscenter has an article in which he describes his last experience, along with that of Barbara Gross Davis, assistant vice provost for undergraduate education, who appeared on the show before Alex Trebek was the host. You can catch the episode on Channel 7 (KGO) at 7:00 PM. *Update: Professor Melia has advanced on to the next round of the tournament, winning a little over $19,000.
