Multicultural Center Catfight Continues
The Daily Cal article on the rally yesterday by the Third World Liberation Front (twLF) was far too long and convoluted for me to attempt to summarize it in any way. (That's not an insult about the article, it's just a very complicated issue. Read the (well-written) article to get up to speed on what's been going on.) As far as I can tell, of all the parties involved (CalSERVE, Student Action, twLF, Birgeneau, other Administrators) everyone is blaming everyone else for the problem. Sounds like the perfect solution for gridlock and a continuation of this, "There’s nothing multicultural about Heller except the color of the furniture".

I can't see this being resolved anytime soon, so I guess the interesting question becomes, who can find a way to blame their opponents for this during the upcoming ASUC elections...Email This Post!
