Statewide Day of Action on Education Tomorrow
I happened across a facebook advertisement earlier today that had the following information:

STATEWIDE DAY OF ACTION
Defend Education March & Freedom School
April 20 11AM Begin @ People's Park & March to Campus
STUDENTS DEMAND ACCESS, AFFORDABILITY AND QUALITY!

I couldn't find much more information on google aside from this press release describing the efforts that will be taking place at UC Santa Cruz:

Students all over California are walking out of class, marching and participating in direct action on April 20th, a day of action to tell Schwarzenegger and his puppets in the UC administration that we will continue to build our resistance until our demands are met!
- No more budget cuts/fee hikes in Higher ed!
- fully fund Prop 98 (funding for K-14)!
- More aid to all college and university students!

Sounds good to me! I'll be at work tomorrow until around 2, so I guess I'll miss the fun, but I'm sure some of the Berkeley bloggers will have a report.Email This Post!
